The number of memories I have attached to this classic humble Italian comfort is overwhelming.
I will never be able to express my gratitude to the opportunities I was given to serve HH Bhakti Charu Swami. He was always so kind and caring and every time He’d stay with us I’d feel like my own grandfather was with us.
He’d share so much wisdom to such young and inquiring minds. Somewhere along the way He taught me how to make a thin and crispy Pizza. It then became a tradition, any time He’d be over we would cook Pizza. One visit He stayed with us for two weeks and almost every single day He requested Pizza. I was blown away that he liked the way it was cooked but really it was His way in engaging me in service.
My last offering for this dedication of Maharaj’s cooking is pizza. This is something that holds a very strong connection to Maharaj for me and not a day has gone by that I don’t miss Him and pray one day I get to serve Him again.
